I have been in the dental industry for 17+ years. I began as a direct sales representative for American Orthodontics. From there, I represented Dentsply Caulk in Northern Michigan. I spent the 9 1/2 years as a distributor representative with Henry Schein Dental, and also represented the Harry J. Bosworth Company. After a brief attempt at being an Independent Direct sales representative, I recently teamed up with Dental Health Products, Inc. as an Outside Account Manager.
I'm looking for a Rep in MI for my Clean Water Systems (Hydro-Pure). I have recently added a new product to my line however, it’s not on the website yet. It’s the Hydro-Pure Magnum System, it will provide (000 TDS) water and provide water to the instrument washer.
The problem with most systems on the market today is the high cost of the unit and the high cost of maintaining the unit year after year. Most Dr.s I’ve worked with over the last 25 year are not willing to pay the high cost of the unit. That’s why I have put together two systems they are under $1000.00 at a 32G/P and the cost to maintain them is less than $75.00 a year. The Magnum will be in the $1400 to $1600 range.

Mike...Mike here! I thought that I would reach out to you since you are also here in Michigan and thought that you might be able to point in a few directions. I'm looking to explore sales opportunities within the dental industry and was hoping that my 8+ years of selling in the medical/pharmaceutical industry might allow for a "somewhat" easier transition than someone without this type of experience. Any particular suggestions for someone making this initial transition?
