I have a private dental practice and I consult with dental companies on concepts and products that pertain to the female practitioner. I write for a variety of publications on women's wellness issues, ergonomics, and the life balance for a female practitioner. I also conduct seminars on winning over the female dentist for sales and marketing. I previously held the position of editor of Woman Dentist Journal for four and a half years, until the publication ceased.

Winning over the Woman Dental Consumer

Do you think your style of selling to dentists is the same for both sexes? Think again....selling to a woman dentist is definitely different than selling to a man. Ergonomics aside, another aspect of purchasing for the woman consumer is the green, eco-friendly, sustainable products offered. I think women are more inclined to look at their practices as offering an office environment and practice that cares about how it affects the patient and the eco-system. If you have a product or equipment that speaks to will speak to them.
